The reason why I have chosen this blog to be my favourite is purely for its simplicity. The blog itself is well constructed and gives valuable information about her business. She gives specific details of the business along with videos and recent activities. With the information that has been provided, it gives a great overview of the company ‘monadelphous’. This information within this blog gives you the knowledge of what you need to know.

Even though this blog may not be the most attracting, it is a great source of information. It is direct to the point and in doing so, making the blog interesting in some aspects. This blog is easily legible with tabs of information just at your fingertips. I thought this was a great way to set out the blog as it doesn't complicate things with everything being over crowded.

     The main reason that Cory made it in my top 3 blogs was because he has supplied sufficient information about his company. This information he has provided is easy reading and makes it sound like a normal book. He also included a useful video about what his company is involved in. The information that has been given to you makes you have a vague understanding of his company.

Overview of Mobilarm Limited

The company that has been decided for me is Mobilarm Limited. Mobilarm Limited is a retail company that sells one of the world’s leading brands in electronics marine safety equipment. The products that Mobilarm offer are alerting units, base units and life jackets. In the 2013 financial year, Mobilarm had introduced new products but also have service offerings and rental solutions available now. Mobilarm’s head office is located in Applecross, Western Australia. Mobilarm also has locations overseas in Nigeria, the United Kingdom, United States and other foreign countries. 

For the financial position of the business, it could be in a better position. Even though the company is still recording net losses, the net loss has been decreased from 2012 to 2013. Total assets are a great concern for the business as there are close to a million dollars in losses. Along with the assets there was an increase of roughly 150,000 dollars in total liabilities from 2012-2013. With total assets being decreased and total liabilities increasing it consequently leads to a loss in net assets to over a million dollars from 2012-2013. The equity of the business has also decreased by over one million dollars. This is due to significant changes in accumulated losses and reserves.
